Eric Norman is just 16 years old, but she already has a career in off-road racing. A pro in her age group for more than two years, she has a lot of racing experience under her belt — that includes five full cross-country season and she’s sponsored by some of the biggest companies in the industry, including Anheuser-Busch and Nissan.

Growing up, she learned to drive in vehicles made by Goldwing, a company that specializes in off-road racing. The company moved from Alabama to Colorado in May so it could reach more fans. Over the past year, Goldwing has produced more than 1,000 videos of the girls in action, which are watched over 1.3 million times each. This weekend, Norman will be competing in the US Northern Baja finals on a course about four hours outside of Denver. An earlier, more open-air competition is being held in San Diego, California, and the top-10 finishers earn a spot in the world finals, which will be held in New Mexico later this year. “That’s where you get into what makes the differences in a racing car a racing car,” Norman said.

Norman began racing at age 13, and now she gets tired just talking about it. “It’s all I do,” she said.
