The Times Book Review lists its 10 Best Books of 2019 — and The Times should be your guide to the best novels of the year

As another year looms and many of us are swearing off caffeine, we do our best to face the midwinter doldrums with a good book. One avenue for year-end reading inspiration is the Times Book Review, which annually unveils its 10 Best Books of the Year. With summer at hand, we thought this great list was a good excuse to add some more titles to our wishlist.

The Times Book Review’s list of the 10 Best Books of 2017 was a staggering juggernaut, with three titles hitting our top 10. We’re hoping for a repeat in 2018 with our list of the 10 Best Books of 2021. No doubt these titles will hit the top of every To-Be-Read-List-Of-Every-Year-Ever, and we know you’ll love to pass them along to your friends, colleagues, and family.
