1892-1902 CLASSIC TIFFANY & CO STERLING SILVER FLUTED TRUMPET VASE
Presented is a fabulous Tiffany & Co sterling silver trumpet vase. This piece date to 1892-1902. The vase has a lovely classical form, with fluted side and beading above the base. The vase is very well made from thick, heavy gauge silver. There is no weighting in the base, this piece is all sterling. The vase has a monogram of RT in elegant script.
This piece is in great condition. The gold wash of the interior is mostly worn away. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'T' for the company director between 1892-1902, Charles L. Tiffany.
The vase is about 9 1/2 inches tall and has a diameter of about 5 1/2 inches at the rim.
This piece weighs 237 grams or 8.4 regular ounces.
