    This axe head is 100 years old this year,
    Marked SAGER CHEMICAL AXE 1921 Above Sager it is marked with a capital N, the L in CHEMICAL is worn off.  You must turn the the axe a bit to the side to read the date.

    edges 4 5/8" and 4 11/16"
    The bit opposite the Sager emboss has a chip in the bit about 5/16" in length there is a smaller one next to it.  The edge on the SAGER side has a chip as well
