Polystyrene capacitors are excellent in amateur radio receiver and transmitting projects, especially QRP.
Some will argue that NP0 or even Silver Mica are better particularly concerning temperature changes.
Where are those people operating their rigs? In the desert or the Arctic? At room temperature
there is not going to be any drift in your little QRP rig operating a pitance of power.
I have been using polystyrene caps in my projects for years without any issues. The late great
Doug Demaw of QRP fame also used them in his circuits. Check out his ARRL publications.
We always combine items to save you on shipping costs when possible.
Be sure to request an invoice/total before paying when buying multiple items.
We cannot adjust shipping costs if you pay for your items first.
We do not issue refunds on over payments of shipping since we are telling you now how to order.
Check out our Ebay store for hundreds of other great items.
    A Note to International Customers:
First I want to say that when we receive an order, it is shipped promptly within 1-3 days. Once the order is brought to the post office and shipped, it is out of our hands. Delivery outside of the United States can take anywhere from 1 week all the way up until 12 weeks (Typical though is one to four weeks).
There are numerous reasons for the delay. Typically, packages are delayed in customs, first in the United States and then in overseas customs. We cannot control the time packages are in customs.
If you contact us to see where your item is, and we tell you it has been shipped, that is all we can do. On small packages, we do not use delivery confirmation because of the high cost. The cost to use confirmation overseas will far exceed the price of the item purchased. If the package has not arrived by 12 weeks, we will issue you a refund or a replacement if the item is available.
According to Ebay statistics, only 19% of sellers in the United States will ship overseas. And according to Ebay surveys, those who do not ship overseas site customer complaints from long delivery times as the reason.
We have chosen to do business with our international friends. However, we ask for your patience. Too often we get emails asking where my item is when it has not even been a week or two.
Our next choice will be to either discontinue international sales or charge for delivery confirmation which will add considerably to the cost.
    Please be patient.
Note, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all and any custom fees. We do not know how much these fees are. You will have to inquiry within your own country.
    Thank you
