Alfred Field Sheffield England Sharpening Hone Rod Wood Handle Part ONLY Striker
This is an antique hone rod that is for repair, parts or repurpose as the steel hone rod is broken. The wood handle is decorative and well crafted with steel hardware ring on end to hang. There is just enough of the hone rod left to read maker's name, " Alfred Field Sheffield England". The wood handle is inlayed with pewter design. This item measures 9" end to end x 1 1/2" widest. Hone steel part left measures 1 3/4" long. The steel could be used as a striker or reshaped into another tool.
