A GENUINE AMISH MADE HICKORY ADZE HANDLE, Style AHM, by mjdtoolparts. The rectangular end of this classic form adze handle measures 1 3/8 inches in width by 2 1/8 inches in length. To order the correct size, measure the inside dimensions of your adze and compare to the specifications shown in the lower left hand corner of the photograph. Some final fitting with a drawknife, spokeshave, chisel and or some sandpaper will be necessary to achieve an ideal fit. At a minimum, the dimensions of the handle need to be larger than the size of your adze head, but not so much larger as to require additional fitting.
