Antique Pottery Ladies Spittoon Cuspidor Blue, Floral Marked B Inside Cartouche

Description

This pottery spittoon measures approximately 6" tall and 8" wide at the top. It weighs about 2 pounds. It is light blue with pink and yellow roses, and green leaves, on one side. The base is marked with a fancy B inside a cartouche. I haven't been able to find this mark to identify the maker of the cuspidor. I have seen similar styles by German and American makers. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some bumps in the glaze on the interior bottom of the spittoon, and a few other production flaws. There is minor wear. So sorry, I did notice a faint hairline crack at the rim after I listed this. I've added closeups in the last two photos. It measures less than an inch at the interior, and less than 1 1/2" at the exterior. The spittoon gives a good ring when thumped, like you would expect to hear if there were no cracks.
