Description

In very good condition is this stunning antique solid sterling silver footed tazza / compote.   It has a full set of hallmarks for Birmingham 1900.   It is in great condition with no cracks, repairs, dents, deep scratches or monograms.  There is a whole lot going on.   It has a Paisley design along with a series of thumb shape flutes, trellis patterns and lovely pierce-work around the sides and a floral rim.   It sits level and even on a round non-weighted base with no wobble.  A wonderful solid and stable piece.  The center of the bowl is a raised highly reflective convex medallion (no mono).
Measure approximately 6 3/8" across and 2 1/2" high.   Weight is approximately 189.1 grams (6.67 oz).
Aside from benefit from a light cleaning it is a ready to gift or use piece.
