In 1960 Fidel Castro launched the idea of building a monument to the students killed by the government of Fulgencio Batista during the civil war of 1956-1958, these bonds have the photo of the student leader José Antonio Echeverría, Catholic, anti-communist and deeply democratic , his movement the Student Revolutionary Directory grouped university students and had confrontations with Fidel Castro. His death on March 13, 1957 in the Assault on the Presidential Palace was very useful for Fidel Castro who thus eliminated a future enemy of his desire to power and was used demagogically by Castro for his political campaigns. The monument, as far as I know, was never built. This set of bonds has different colors: one was given to the donor, another remained as a copy at the University of Havana and another was for the government
