Sterling Silver Basket Center Piece Wood Handle and Feet HEIMBURGER Danish
Presented is a beautiful danish modern  hammered sterling silver basket and ebony colored wood accent handle and feet. This shell shaped basket has a nice deep bowl and is marked for Danish silver from Heimburger with a date mark of 1925.
It is in excellent condition and is a great work of craftsmanship. It has a high fixed handle with an ebony colored wood handle on top that match the four carved feet on the bottom. on a pedestal base and a stationary handle.
It is a fine addition to almost any collection of fine silver for its art and craftsmanship and a great centerpiece. Hallmarked for solid 826 fine silver made in copenhagen Denmark. This piece is made of 826 fine silver, American standard sterling is 925 fine so there is slightly less silver in this alloy.
