Double bit axe

Double bit axe-
Offered is a double bit axe with 9 1/2" long head showing no maker mark other than marked 3 1/2.
4 1/2" wide bits have good edges, weighs 5 1/2 lbs. with 36" long heavy handle.  Handle is original, well secured,  with two partial paper labels, one showing made in USA.  Head retains some original red finish with minor rust marks.  A nice clean axe.  I would give this a tool condition rating of Exc.
