Being offered is a vintage Dryden Pottery vase or bowl. It is marked Dryden and number 17. This is an older piece in that it was made at the company's original plant which was located in Ellsworth, Kansas. The vase is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or damage noted. Approx. 3 1/2" wide by 3 7/8" tall.Dryden Pottery was started by A. James Dryden in Ellsworth, Kansas, sometime in 1946. The company relocated to
Hot Springs
,
Arkansas
, in 1956.
Dryden had a host of markings throughout it history as can be seen by the markings below. Collectors have been interested between distinguishing

has a distinct color and look. The color and clay type was a tan or light brown color.
