Early GW Alexander 1000 Sigmund Eisner Boy Scout Hat & Trefoil Band -Barely Worn
This is a wonderful old Boy Scout Hat made by G.W. Alexander. It is model 1000.  It is a wool hat with eyelets and a leather headband inside.  There is a triple stitch rim edge.   There is a silk hat band with the Trefoils around the crown and a string chin strap. It is a greenish brown color - my flash washed the color out a bit but it is greenish brown!  The hat was sold by Sigmund Eisner in Reading PA. It is well marked. I do not believe it was worn much, if at all. It is a size 6 7/8.  The hat shape is as found.  I do not know if it is correct.
There are 3 small marks on the top of the hat that are a bit whitish in color - probably from being stored. This is about as nice as you will get.
