    FINE WATROUS/INT'L STERLING SILVER TRUMPET VASE 10 5/8" c1950s
    Presented is a wonderful sterling silver trumpet vase by Watrous. This piece dates to around the 1950s. The vase is done in a lovely simple form, with an undulating rim. The base is weighted for stability.
    This piece is in great overall condition. There may have been a minor repair to the mouth of the vase, but if so it was very well and professionally done and is hard to notice. There are a few minor dings here and there around the base. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no other repairs.
    The underside of the vase is stamped with the maker's mark for Watrous, a division of International, as well as sterling and weighted reinforced.
    The vase is about 10 5/8 inches tall.
    This piece weighs 420 grams or 14.8 regular ounces. Although the vase has some weighting in the base, we estimate that more than half of this weight is sterling silver.
