  • Condition: Excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing. Nothing is perfect when a piece is hand painted and glazed — there is a mark where the glaze has puddled (see photo number 10) and a few spots of the color glaze on the creamy white underside.

    Signed "Fiori" 13-inch POTTERY PLATE, Scalloped, Hand Painted, Zanesville, Ohio, USA
    Contemporary hand painted pottery with large floral pattern in soft pastels with a touch of black. The glaze is a matte finish. Scalloped edge with a creamy white underside. The scalloped edge turns up giving this plate a height of 1-5/8 inches.
    This plate pre-dates the other two I have sold recently on eBay with the newer stamped Fioriware & Jardinware logo. This piece is hand signed “Fiori.” One of the originals and the largest of the 3 I had measuring 13 inches in diameter!
    This is a heavy plate weighing 2 lbs 11 oz before packing to ship and feels good to the touch with its beautiful matte finish.
