The forged heads are all in great shape....see photo's. The Folding Saw works great. Has a small cracked missing piece on the red saw handle that doesn't effect the use or function in any way. The saw blade cuts dry wood like hot butter.
A few comments:
The hickory hatchet handle is solid with proper grain direction and has the feel of a well balanced tool. It's been rubbed down with boiled linseed oil since and on going...before I was born. The axe and hatchet both have the hudson bay - tomahawk profile, and is a timeless shape that showcases classic functional design by men who used and new the importance of a well built cutting tool. The folding saw is a true workhorse that performs as good as or better than modern folding saws. It's light, tough, folds nicely.
