Condition: Good old hewing axe head. No visible makers marks. Nice cutting edge with just some minor chips and nicks on it (see pics). The poll end is missing lots of pieces of steel (see pic #8). Some heavy pitting, scrapes and dings on both sides of the axe head, which is common on a vintage / antique wood working tool, such as this old hewing axe head (see pics). No cracks or breaks on the head, other than the poll end (see all pics).

Good old hewing axe head. No visible makers marks. Nice cutting edge with just some minor chips and nicks on it (see pics). The poll end is missing lots of pieces of steel (see pic #8).
