The Saddle Axe from Hoffman Blacksmithing offers a compact and versatile design for reliable all-around use. This 19" model features a 2.5 lb. head and an ergonomically hand-carved hickory wood handle. The head is hand forged from a block of 4142 chrome/moly alloy steel and heat treated to provide exceptional performance. One edge of this double-edged axe is ground slightly shorter providing for multiple uses.
