This listing is for One New Motor Run Capacitor made by Italfarad.
These will fit Prime Air Pac 2500 Compressors or Grip Rite GR-2000 and GR-2500 Compressors.
Made by Italfarad. These are 55uf +/- 5%, 250V, 50/60HZ, Series RP-0, RPNOF556M8, UL Listed.
These are the Original part for these compressors and getting very hard to find. What makes these unique is their size. These are the only 55uf capacitors that will fit in the confined space under the motor cover.
The body on these are approximately 1-3/4" in diameter and 3-11/16" long. (1.77D X 3.66L) They have double fast on connectors on one end and a threaded mounting stud on the other end. One M8 mounting nut and washer are included. The overall length (including connectors and stud length) is approxamately 4-5/8" long.
These are original OEM replacement parts for these compressors.
My compressor was originally made by Prime Air. They were later sold by Grip Rite under that name. Both units were the same. These are very nice compressors and definately worth fixing.
Does your motor just Hum or Buzz? Or try to start running but won't?
If you can rotate the motor fan that tells you nothing is seized and there is a very good chance it is just the Run Capacitor that needs to be replaced.
Prime Air Part number in my schematic was 7302042 for the Air Pac 2500 series.
Grip-Rite number was PACS104, 007302042 for the GR-2000 and GR-2500 series.
