Awesome vintage experimental science toy for kids to learn/understand physics. I believe this was made in the 1970’s in England. Designed by Dr. Cyril Isenberg, physicist who is known for pioneering the analog computing possibilities of soap bubbles. He frequently gave physics lectures to schoolchildren and taught physics concepts through fun hands-on experiments, such as with this bubble kit. Very cool!
This kit includes a series of hard plastic tubes, small connectors, a little more than half bottle of original bubble liquid, and instructional/informational manual. The kit allows the individual to connect the tubes and joiners to make different frameworks that can then be dipped into a bubble solution to create geometrical shapes with bubbles!
Item is in “Fair Condition”. Box has some stains, possibly from old bubble solution and a small tear on front of box. Looks like most tubes and all connectors are inside box. Some tubes may be missing. There are definitely enough tubes to make each shape but I’m unsure if all shapes can be constructed simultaneously. Bubble solution is basically liquid soap. It is meant to be mixed with some water in a bowl. It is dark and somewhat thick and obviously very old. I have not tested this solution but I believe you could just substitute with regular liquid soap, if you wanted to do the bubble experiments. Inside packaging and instructional manual has some dried residual bubble liquid on it. Please review pics.
