LARGE GORHAM ATHENIC 15" TALL ART NOUVEAU FLORAL DECORATED FOOTED VASE,
RARE AND SUPERB!
THE ATHENIC LINE WAS INTRODUCED ABOUT 1901 BY GORHAM TO COMPLIMENT THE GORHAM MARTELE LINE.
THE OUTSTANDING VASE IS 15" TALL.  5" ACROSS TOP.  THE BASE IS 5" WIDE.  THE WEIGHT IS 29.2 TROY OUNCES.
BEAUTIFUL TRAILING REPOUSSE FLORAL AND LEAVES, VISIBLE AT ALL ANGLES.  THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE VASE HAVE IDENTICAL DESIGNS.  NOTE THE HANDSOME DECORATION TO TOP AND BOTTOM RIM.
MARKED AS SHOWN.  INSCRIBED UNDER BASE: A.V. XMAS 1908.
