One of the top questions I receive regarding our line of Neodymium Magnets is - "How can I tell which is the North Pole and which is the South Pole?"
After much research, I am pleased to offer this Magnet Pole Identifier. Simply push and hold the black oval button shown below. Then, place the tip of the Identifier to the surface of the magnet. If it is the North Pole, the Red LED will shine, if it's the South Pole, the Green LED will light. It's that simple. And if the button is held and the unit is moved around the surface of the magnet, one can note the transition from one pole to another.
And the pole identifier is guaranteed 100% accurate. Works on Neodymium, SmCo, Ceramic, AlNiCo, ferrite and most other magnets. Does not work on refrigerator magnets. Identifies multiple pole magnets. This is one handy and interesting gadget.

Requires (4) GPA76 1.5V alkaline button cell batteries - THESE ARE INCLUDED and preinstalled with your identifier. These are long lasting batteries and under normal use should last years. This unit is made in China, and while the identifier concept is sound, the exterior craftsmanship is not always perfect, so you may find some minor cosmetic defects. Of course, if you are not satisfied, your money will be refunded upon return.
