    Description

    Mug/Cup
    made from a can for the National Can Corporation New Executive Headquarters Official Opening, May 1965.  Lists all the plant locations of National Can Corporation on one side of the can, above a note indicating "66 Years, 1899 - 1965." The other side of the can indicates "75 Years, 1965 - 1975 Diamond Decade."  Approximately 14 fluid ounce capacity (filled to the rim).  About 2-1/2" inside diameter.  About 4-11/16" tall.  Handle sticks out about 1-3/8" from the side.  Object weighs 2-1/2 ounces. Overall in excellent condition (see notes below).

    Note: There are some (very) minor scratches on this can, both inside and out (they do not photograph well). The soldering at top & bottom of the handle is a bit discolored (may be original).  The top of the handle has a dark smudge about 1/2" x 1/4", plus another smudge on the edge of the handle which is about 1/8" x 1/8".
