CDE Cornier Dublier 715P Orange Drop capacitors have a long history of proven reliability. These capacitors have
excellent
stability and a virtually linear temperature coefficient. They are constructed with a polypropylene film and extended foil that is non-inductively wound. As a result, these capacitors exhibit low dissipation, low dielectric absorption, and high stability. Prior to distribution, these capacitors undergo extensive testing: operating
temperature range testing (-55C to +85C, up to +105C if the DC working voltage is reduced by 50%), humidity testing, DC voltage testing, AC voltage testing, and dielectric withstanding voltage. The characteristics of these capacitors make them ideal for high frequency, high pulse current applications such as switching power supplies, inverters, snubbers, resonant converters, light ballasts, tube and hi-fi amplifiers, and discrete audio circuits.
ATTENTION: Many eBay listings for 'Orange Drop' or similar film capacitors are misleading, counterfeits, and/or inferior to/of these capacitors. Cornier Dublier (CDE) and Sprague (who sold their line and the Orange Drop name to CDE) are the ONLY manufacturers of these capacitors and have characteristics unique to their design and manufacturing process.

These capacitors are in mint cosmetic condition. The characteristics (capacitance, tolerance, rated voltage, etc.) and solderability have been tested and verified by our professionals.
