Caution: To prevent the blade from being rusted, avoid keeping the axe in the sheath for long. Remember to do oiling on the blade using motor oil, gun oil or the mineral oil.
Product Cares:
• As the Damascus Blades is not made from the pure Stainless Steel (SS), they are intended to catch the rust if not dried properly after washing.
• To preserve the blades and avoid rusting, use of Linseed Oil is highly recommended.
• Blades can be sharpened by using Diamond Sander and Carbon Sanders.
Rust Prevention:
• To prevent rusting, the blade is coated with WD-40 and Olive Oil.
• The oil coating on the Carbon Steel Blade give lustering looks to the customized design and make the patterns and layers look more appealing.
• The absorbent properties of leather could stain the blade. Therefore, it is better to avoid keeping the blade in the leather sheath for long.
• To keep the blade intact and shiny, it is recommended to wrap-up the blade in the plastic wrapper first and then put the blade in the leather sheath.
• Do not ever wash the Damascus Blade with a dishwasher.
