Precious Moments 1997 “Jingles” Stocking Doll, 5th in the series

Description

Designed with a vinyl head and hands, the Precious Moments doll features blonde hair and hand-painted green eyes. Fifth in the Christmas Stocking doll series, she is the first annual stocking doll to wear a dress. The red and green tartan dress is accented with a green bow at the waist (see picture of bow, area of darker green, maybe because it was next to the bell all these years) and white lace around the neck and at the end of the sleeves. Red shoes with green bows complement the ensemble. She wears a red santa hat with a bell on the end and sits in a plush red Christmas stocking. For ages 3 and up. Designed especially for QVC, she comes with a hangtag. Approximately 16” high.
Her condition is new, since her plastic bag just folded at the end, never sealed, I chose to take her out for the purpose of pictures. This was the only time removed from her bag or stocking. She has never been played with or displayed. The box got smashed just a bit in my closet (see picture), comes from a smoke free home.
She’s great for decorating or a Christmas present. I gave one to my daughter years ago. I stuffed candy and treats in the bottom of the stocking and replaced the doll, and left her unboxed for my daughter to find under the Christmas tree… a special surprise from Santa.
