On Phone:
1) Go to Settings
2) Select About Phone
3) Select Software Information
4) Scroll to bottom and tap Build Number 7 times
5) Return to previous screen, scroll to bottom and select Developer Options
6) Scroll down and Enable USB Debugging

Enable Stay Awake option to prevent the Android device from sleeping while plugged into USB port.
