I am not affiliated with the seller who recently changed his ID to look like mine just to get customers !!!
I just had to change mine a bit for some sort of delineation.
I am the original repair person for controllers on ebay !! SEE my FEEDBACK and the competitions !!
I  have been doing controller repairs on ebay since around  2013 and have repaired over 500 feedback verifiable units on ebay alone. Since most people do not bother with feedback, that makes it well over 1000 done.
The factory pads on these fail or gum up early !!
Before you decide if the board needs repair or a rebuild, open it up, and clean the contact areas on the board and the rubber parts under the pad with a qtip and a little alcohol. Then buff off the alcohol residue with a dry qtip. See if that changes things

I usually recommend full ACTUAL rebuilds (not pseudo rebuilds like other sellers boast and then say repair in the ad) but, since not everyone wants to or can spend the xtra money, so this is a less expensive option.
