SERVICED (NEW CAPACITOR) SR&D Scholz Rockman RockAdaptor Power Supply #1
These units are now over 30 years old and no longer being manufactured. I purchase Rockmans to refurbish and resell. You will receive the unit shown in these photos.
Electrolytic capacitors dry out over time as they have a limited lifespan of 20-30 years before drying out and or leaking. Electrolytic Capacitor has been replaced with a Nichicon branded quality capacitor (see photo showing old capacitor that was discarded).
Solder joints checked and resoldered as necessary. Foam on top for battery cover storage was dried out, replaced with Velcro.
Unit was functionally tested on a Rockman Amplifier.
I have been an electronics technician since 1983. Rockman unit has been fully serviced and ready to use for years to come without needing costly refurbishing.
