Description
Description and Condition:This little bowl is signed but I can't read the signature. The wheel thrown stoneware body has lots of frit in it, which makes tooling smooth surfaces somewhat difficult. The glaze might quality as a raku formula, as it has lots of drippy and bubbly reaction from the firing. The result is a very organic effect. This bowl is 2.75 inches high and 5 inches diameter at the rim.
This bowl is from the Pacific Northwest, and I am estimating that it dates to 1960-1980.
