    Description

    Vintage Supreme Drill Chuck with Gear Addition (?)
    Chuck is Marked:
    - Model PB16A
    - 5/64-1/2 Cap 3/8-24 Thd
    I asked my machinist friends what this is (I'm not a machinist).
    They said it is probably the inside of a 90 degree angle drill, or from an old electric drill, or that it may have been homemade for a specific task.
    It measures about 5" from top to bottom.
    The gear on top appears firmly mounted, and the brass piece in the middle moves around & up & down.
    The chuck works just as a chuck should.
