Up for the auction is an very fine detailed sterling swan center-piece by: Black Starr & Frost one of the most famous American silver company.According to silver books this stamp belongs to circa 1876.The large sterling swan has gorgeous details and is in excellent condition for its age.on the bottom stamps reads:"Factory bird stamp"-BLACK STARR & FROST-STERLING  33.It has fine monograms initials that looks like:T M S.The swan weighs exact:260.6 grams or:8.380 troy ounces.The length measures about:8" with the high of:6 1/4" and the width is:4 7/8".This piece has been obtained from fine estate in San Marino California.
