    Description

    This "Old Fashioned" Country Jamboree musical instrument set includes a musical washboard, "child sized" thimbles, a jaw harp, and harmonica. The musical washboard is manufactured by a company that has been producing washboards continuously since the mid-1800's. Overall size of the washboard is 8 1/2" x 18". The washboard as a percussion instrument has been widely used from Appalachian music, country, western, Cajun, blues, and Zydeco and played using the thimbles on your fingers. The jaw harp and harmonica round out the set, and now you've got a band. Add a couple of friends and you're ready for some "down home" fun!
