Ungemach Pottery Company UPCO 278 Green Rectangular Flower Planter

Description

Up for sale is this green rectangular planter with an accordion side design, made by Ungemach Pottery Company.  It is hard to read but it is marked "UpCo  278  USA" on the bottom.  It is in good vintage condition with no cracks, but there is a fleabite chip on the outer rim of one of the ends (see last photo).   There are also the typical glazing flubs, common with midcentury American made pottery.  It measures 8-1/4" long, 4-5/8" wide and sits 3" tall.
I'm not a dealer, just someone who buys interesting pieces wherever I find them and tries to earn a modest living here on eBay.
