Here’s perhaps an unparalleled opportunity to own an unopened bottle of Paris’ Mury fragrance! Introduced in 1917,
Caresse d’Amour de Mury
was the original Mury fragrance; a brand that created popular early 20
th
Century fragrances such as
Le Narcisse Blue
(1920),
Heliotrope
(1920), and
Notturno
(1926). This bottle was likely made sometime between its introduction in 1917 and the mid-1930s, when Mury changed to a streamlined packaging.
This bottle appears to be unopened and comes with original golden string attached. I have not attempted to open the bottle, but I can smell a fragrance from the neck. The smell is spice (patchouli and cinnamon) and powder forward, with a hint of floral (vanilla and lily). It’s heady, intoxicating, and truly from another era.
The perfume comes in original hand-decorated cardboard box, likely made by French manufacturer Gouvernet.

Condition:
This antique perfume bottle is UNUSED and in NEAR MINT condition! The packaging shows very little surface wear and no major flaw or damage!

Returns:
