Vintage 1920’s Craftsman Hand Axe Half-Hatchet

Craftsman hand
axe
or
half
hatchet with a
fancy
early
oval
logo. I believe this is the original handle. It has a single wooden wedge in the head that was not flushed off. I've read these oval logos were the second generation, after the wavy one, in the 1920's, but I don't really know for sure. I've seen the identical fancy double-line oval with the Long C logo inside, and the Long C logo inside with the Vanadium marking under that, so I am guessing this was between the earliest wavy logo and the later (1930's) Long C/Vanadium logo.
Condition of the
axe and handle is very good
.
Note some pitting on the cheek and some black rust spotting on the flip side on the poll.
