This distinctive offering is an original & early BSA Scout Master Hat that features a brass bullet in its leather band.
Characteristics are:
Made of: 100% Brown Wool Felt
Has Badge Holes/Ventilation Grommets
Black/Brown Leather Hat Band
secured with an XR Headstamp Brass bullet (Federal Cartridge Co.Rimfire)
Leather Sweatband Marked “BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA” LOGO “OFFICIAL HAT” also “SCOUTMASTER” and “PERFECT OVAL”

The unit is in good vintage condition, noting some wear on the leather bands and could use a professional cleaning for a pristine appearance. As is, it presents well & is a historic, collectible BSA display item.
