In 1929 the Smith, Kline and French Company was renamed Smith Kline and French Laboratories. This name applied until 1968 when they merged with another company, so the jar can be dated 1929-1968.
Chlorpromazinium
indicates the jar is for the drug Thorazine. Measures 10 ½” high to the top of the lid knob. The design is quite showy with Victorian inspired pharmaceutical symbols and red and gold “seals”. It has thick gold grim throughout. It obviously never used except for display only. ...
