Vintage De Witts Toilet Cream Bottle with Contents E. C. DeWitt Co
This item is a bottle with contents of DeWitt's Toilet Cream from E.C. DeWitt & Co. Inc.
The clear, screw top bottle measures about 5 1/4 X 1 3/4 X 1 1/8 inches and originally contained 2 3/4 oz of product. The bottle is in very good condition. There is the original paper label that wraps around on the two sides. The paper label has good colors but does show wear and some staining.  There is a small torn off label piece on the upper left area of front panel edge, just above the De in DeWitts. There is a small label section missing at the upper right corner on the right wrap around label portion. There is some handwriting below the DeWitt's on the front label. The bottle appears to be about 80%  full.  I did not open the bottle.
The bottle states "cools and smoothes the skin" and non-alcoholic.  It also states "A delicately perfumed, non-greasy Toilet Cream, easy to apply leaving skin daintily smooth and fresh." "Gloves may be worn soon after using".   " A delightful toilet accessory for freshening the skin. Aids in keeping its neat appearance. Is pleasantly cooling for use after shaving." "Is not sticky or greasy".
We do not know about the usability of this product. Given it's age, we do not recommend use and are listing it for collectible and display purposes only.
