Description:
A very nice vintage etched fine glass tall bud vase with a weighted Sterling Silver base. The Glass portion of the vase has a beautiful etched floral design on the outside. The glass portion is almost 7 3/4" deep to accommodate long stem flowers. The base is round and flat and rises in a sloped manner to form a spot where the glass portion is attached. The top edge of the base has a nice raised cast scroll design. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of the description.

Uncertain, but most likely mid 20th century
Origin:
Purchased at an estate auction in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Size:
~2 1/2" in diameter at the base, ~1 1/8" diameter at the top, and is ~10 1/8" high. The vase weighs a bit over 5 ounces.

On the bottom the words "Duchin Creation Sterling Weighted" with a lady's hand holding the letter "D" in Duchin.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is a very nice bud vase that is nice and very decorative. It would make a great addition to your collection or add a beautiful accent to your home decor.
Condition:
The bud vase is in excellent condition given its age and use. It has no crack, chips, or rapiers to the glass. The sterling silver base has a few scratches and a couple of minor dings to the surface and could use a good cleaning to bring out its full beauty. However, this does not distract from the beauty and quality of the piece. Please see photos for additional condition information.
