This is a very nice piece of Mid Century Modern Cookson pottery in a pleasing color in very good vintage condition.  When I picked it up, it had been used as a planter for artificial plants/flowers, but could serve many uses.  Please see photos for dimensions and for the exact condition of the item.  The last 3 photos show what I believe to be primarily some manufacturing defects along the rim of the pottery.  Please let me know if you would like additional photos.
