Vintage Medical Candle Holder with Magnifying Glass Parabolic Reflector

Parabolic Magnifier Medical Lamp. A cool and interesting candle holder with a heavy, solid, adjustable magnifying glass, pricked candle holder, and a plated reflective surface. The exact age of this item is unknown, could be pre- or post-1900. Magnifying glass goes up or down as candle burns. Base is approximately 12” wide x 19” tall. The magnify glass is approximately 5 1/4 (including frame)” and is quite heavy for the size. Pre-owned condition. The chrome has some spots and possibly minor dents/scratches (see pictures) as it hasn’t been polished or cleaned. This is a great conversation piece and will look great in both modern industrial and rustic homes. I would keep it but would like it to go to someone who might really appreciate the history and former use of the piece.
