    Description

    This is a very rare 1940's Morton Pottery soldier hair grower.  The original Chia Pet, this one has "Hi Buddy" on the back collar but it is difficult to read.  Measuring 6.5" tall and about 5.5" wide, it was cold painted and retains an amazing amount of color.  It does have many small scuffs and spots but I didn't try to clean it.  There are no chips, cracks or crazing but there are some rough spots and what looks like a factory fix to the right ear.
