    Description

    Up for sale is this great American cigar related sign. Condition is very good on this plaque / sign with a very nice patina in the bronze. Exceptional sand casting, polished when made. The verso (back) is good with the Price Bros, Chicago makers mark. Price Bros. was a very reputable and refined marketing / advertising Co.  that was very successful during the time this sign related to...early 1920s. Napoleon Cigars...was a very popular cigar brand manufactured by Powell & Goldstein in Oneida N.Y. ( one of over 60 cigar factories in Oneida at the time.) Picture of their original factory building shown as is their letterhead.  Dimensions of the plaque are 14 1/2" W X 17 3/4" H X 1/2"D.  Weight of the sign is16 lb's. A great addition to the collector of either tobacco or cigars...or just U.S.advertising. I am a careful shipper and am not interested in making $ on this charge to the buyer.
