Vintage Official Boy Scouts of America Stetson Style Brown Felt Hat Size 6 5/8.
Condition is used. Outside felt in very good condition except there is a small area with a bump in the felt. Rivet holes are excellent. Brown ribbon around hat is emblazoned with boy scout symbols. Brown shoelace ties around the chin to secure the hat. Felt under the brim is in good condition with one small stained area. Inside leather-like band around head area is imprinted with “Boys Scouts of America Official Hat” and the Boy Scouts symbol, and also the size “6 5/8”. However, the edges of the inside band are frayed and in poor condition. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. Sold as is. .
This hat is approximately 90 to 100 years old. It has been stored in a smoke-free home. Would make a wonderful addition to a display.
