  • Condition: Very nice lightly used CRAFTSMAN carpenter's hatchet. Still has the original SEARS CRAFTSMAN decal on the shank of the hatchet (see pics). The rubber handle grips and hatchet head are both solidly mounted on the steel shank handle, not loose one bit. The rubber handle grips have no tears or rips (see pics). Very nice cutting edge, with just a little very minor chip on it (see pics). The hammer face looks like it was never used (see pics).

    Vintage Craftsman 16 oz. Hammer Hatchet Carpenter's Axe Model # 4812 Metal & Rubber Gripped Handled.
    Very nice lightly used CRAFTSMAN carpenter's hatchet. Still has the original SEARS CRAFTSMAN decal on the shank of the hatchet (see pics). The rubber handle grips and hatchet head are both solidly mounted on the steel shank handle, not loose one bit. The rubber handle grips have no tears or rips (see pics). Very nice cutting edge, with just a little very minor chip on it (see pics). The hammer face looks like it was never used (see pics). The total weight of the hatchet is 1 pound 10.8 oz. The hatchet is 12-3/4" long. The head is almost 6-1/2" long, with a cutting edge of 3-1/4" wide.
