    Vintage/Antique/Primitive Carpenter's Axe Half Hatchet Hammer, Possibly Hand Forged?
    Very well made unbranded (no makers marks visible) half hatchet head, that has a very nice look to it (see all pics). This could possibly be hand forged/made?? Nice cutting edge with very very minor chips and nicks on it (see pics). Nice hammer face without any mushrooming or chips out of it (see pics). No breaks or cracks in the steel. The head weighs in at 1 pound 5.2 oz. The head is a little over 5-3/4" long, the cutting edge is just a little under 3" wide. The hammer face is 1" in diameter.
    Just a nice, very old half hatchet.
