WW II German 1:2000000 Fliegerkarte - NIGHT FLYING MAP - UK & WESTERN EUROPE!

Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB 1940's 1:4000000 WW2 German Luftwaffe Fliegerkarte (Pilot Map) as used by both Fighter Pilots and Bomber crews for navigation.
This map is titled "Luft-Navigationskarte in Kegelprojektion", and measures a NICE 30" x 34" size.
This is the RARE Double-Sided Night-Flying version.
This map allowed the pilot to properly calculate his flight path.
It is made heavy yellow oilcloth.
Made of yellow oil cloth for night flying, this map is in EXCELLENT condition for its age.
It measures approx. 30" x 34" in size, and covers all of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Ireland),  Spain, France, and Portugal on one side.  Other side depicts the rest of Western Europe and includes France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Greece, and parts of Turkey and Russia.  Titled, "Zusammendruck Nr. 1 (Westeuropa u. All Ozean)" & "Zusammendruck Nr. 2 (Ostsee-Balkan)".
Shows various locations of lakes, seas, towns, villages, cities, and elevations. Also features longitude and latitude degree markings, and the Luftwaffe grid. The bottom indicates the map was printed in 1940 by the Generalstab der Luftwaffe.
Some slight marks and stains due to the age, and it remains in SUPERB condition, with no tears or damage!
A VERY RARE and FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
