WW II German Air Force Aircraft - INSTRUMENT BLIND PANEL - Me109 G- VERY RARE!!

You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE and 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Me109 G6 Instrument Blind Flying Panel!  Though it is broken, it still features the hand-written aircraft Werk Number in the center!  Brought back by a US Veteran.
This wood panel mounted the main blind-flying instruments, including the Altimeter, Speedometer, Horizon, and Compass.
Made from German Birch from the Black Forest, this instrument panel is 100% ORIGINAL, NOT A REPRODUCTION! It is specific to the Me109 G-6 aircraft, and was originally manufactured between 1942 and 1943.  Brought back by a US Veteran, but sadly, I do not have any further history.  There is a hand-written werk number in the center of the panel...but it is hard to make out.
Comes complete with the original altimeter and airspeed indicator, however, I cannot guarantee functionality.
Panel itself features 95% of it's original RLM66 cockpit paint.
Though I have not cleaned anything, it remains i
n overall FANTASTIC condition!
There is some wear due to the age, but otherwise VERY solid!
A VERY RARE addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
